This course allows candidates to acquire the necessary knowledge in the theory and practice of safe food handling.
The one day course covers:
- The importance of food hygeine
- Microbiology & illness
- Contamination & prevention of illness
- Personal hygiene
- Cleaning & disinfection
- Food pests
- Premises & equipment
- Food safety control
- Legislation food safety hazards
Schedule: Typically: 9.00am - 5.00pm (1 hour lunch break plus 2 x 15 minute breaks)
