For candidates working in all food business at a supervisory level. It is therefore vital candidates are equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to do their job effectively.
Candidates will need to have an analytical approach to food hygiene and will be encouraged to demonstrate how they can influence others and positively encourage good standards.
The course covers:
- Legislation
- Supervisory management
- Temperature control (chilling, cooking)
- Cleaning
- Contamination Control
- Applying and monitoring good hygiene practices
- Implementing good food safety procedures
- Contributing to the safety training of others
Duration: 18.5 hours (3 days plus examination date)
Schedule: Typically: 9.15am - 4.45pm (1 hour lunch break plus 2 x 15 minute breaks)
