CIEH (New) Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace

Formerly known as “Basic Health & Safety”

The CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace replaces the Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace. This qualification is tailored to business and individual needs to make the learning experience relevant and fit for purpose.

The course covers:

• Legislation
• Health
• Safety
• Welfare
• The workplace and workplace equipment
• Risk assessment
• Manual handling
• Hazardous substances
• Ergonomics and workstation design
• Transport and vehicles
• Noise and vibration

Duration: 6 hours (this excludes the examination)

Schedule: Typically: 9.00am - 5.00pm (1 hour lunch break plus 2 x 15 minute breaks)

Location: Ipswich

Cost: £68 plus VAT @ 17.5% (£11.90) = £79.90. Text Book: £3.60 (non vatable).

TOTAL: £83.50 inc VAT @ 17.5% (includes all course notes, reference handbook to take away, tea, coffee and biscuits)

Exam: Multiple choice, 30 questions.
