National Learner of the Year 2009
Matthew Lee (Cottage Farm Quality Meats, Sevenoaks) was awarded the National Award for Food Manufacture & Meat Poultry Retail Skills Apprentice of the year 2009.
Geoffrey Davis, the Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers presented Matthew Lee with a trophy, certificate and cheque when he attended the Awards Luncheon at Butchers Hall, London.
Judges were impressed with his Distinctions and Credits gained from the Technical Certificate (ICMP) along with a Learning Pack on preparing meat for his display unit. Matthew has now started his Advanced Apprenticeship and was very pleased to be chosen for the above award.
